Phoenix Digital Solutions has had the pleasure of working with Kao Collins for many years now as a distributor of their inks and products to our customers.
Since the release of the XBAR Industrial InkJet Printing system as a direct replacement to the Kodak Versamark 4" and 9" there has been a lot of interest from our customers in this new drop-on-demand printing system. It is a direct replacement to the continuous inkjet printing system created by Scitex (then bought by Kodak) back in the 1990's.
This "Legacy" Kodak technology is old, difficult to keep in Ready (due to machine problems and ChargeShorts), expensive to run, expensive for parts, expensive for printhead refurbishments and expensive for servicing.
We are an approved distributor for KaoCollins for the XBAR technology.
This covers the XBAR Printheads, XBAR Fluidstation, the XBAR Universal Controller which can drive multiple printhead technologies as well as Kodak Versamark heads, and their PDF Rips.
