DS120

The Kodak DS120 datastation was manufactured to send ripped data to the Kodak printheads. The printheads that these datastations are compatible with are determined by the settings selected in the DS120 setup via the operator panel and by the POB board that is installed on the RIP board. The datstation processes Data by converting from the input file, (usually IJPDS or MPC4 sent from the controller) and outputting a RAW BMP datastream directly to the printhead via fibreoptic. It also synchronises the Tach & Cue Signals so that it sends the correct data out of the job file to the printhead for printing.
